Thanks for checking out our Peek of the Week!
Hi, I'm Carrie! I'm the CEO of Best of Cayman.
The Peek of the Week is our opportunity to highlight outstanding businesses
and activies throughout the local community. Every week, our Best
of Cayman team and I will select a new local business to visit, experience
it first-hand and feature them on BestofCayman.com.
This is huge exposure because our website visitors come from all walks
of life with all sorts of interests, and most
of them are right here in Cayman.
Being chosen as the Peek of the Week feature doesn’t cost anything
and is a fun and exciting way to gain new customers.
If you would like to make a suggestion for the Peek of the Week or
to have your business considered, please contact
us. The only qualification is that you're in the Cayman Islands.
I look forward to visiting!
Here's a short list of our past PEEKS:

It's Pirate's Week! Nov 6th - 16th
First it's fireworks, followed by a local song contest and then, almost every day for 11 days, Caribbean rhythms pulsate in open-air street dances until the wee hours of the morning. An authentic slice of the native Caribbean! A mock "pirate invasion" from the sea! Old-time sailing vessels, loaded with "pirates" make a Saturday surprise landing at the bowl-shaped George Town harbour, as thousands line the streets to take part in the spectacle or just watch. It's good-natured fun, there's a new twist every year, and families just love it. It's the only event of its kind in the Caribbean region.

As the Cayman Islands prepares for the action-packed Cayman jazz fest, BET J is getting visitors excited for this fifth anniversary of the festival sounding out in the idyllic Caribbean location from December 4 to 6, 2008.
"We are expecting another stellar production in paradise and encouraging our audiences to visit Grand Cayman for an exciting line-up of first class musical entertainment," said Cybelle Brown, Vice President of Sales and Business Development with BET Digital Networks, which along with BET Event Productions and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is producing the festival.
Grammy Award-winning artist Angie Stone
"Grammy Award-winning artistes Michael Bolton, Anita Baker, Angie Stone, Cassandra Wilson, Norman Brown and Robin Thicke are set to woo audiences with their many and varied musical stylings," said Brown, who added that Gerald Albright, Terrence Howard, Esperanza Spalding and Algebra complete the classy line-up of international artistes that will harmoniously complement the local Caymanian talent on show.
The 2008 Preview Show airing coincided with BET J's fresh new look for the "Island Lime" Saturday programming line up.
American film and television actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, widely known for her role in the sitcom The Steve Harvey Show as "Principal Regina," and currently starring as The Game's Tasha Mack on the CW Network, teamed up with local business executive Alee Fa'amoe to host the compelling preview show.
